Launched on 15th August 1995, the "Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme" is a pension scheme by the Social Welfare Department, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The scheme provides monthly financial assistance of ₹1,000/- to Below Poverty Line (BPL) individuals.
